The most delicate part of a wind turbine is the nacelle, the structure at the top of the turbine tower that houses the key components, including the rotor shaft, gearbox, and generator. The nacelles for onshore wind farms weigh around 75 tonnes, so moving them around takes a huge amount of know-how.
