£5.8 million Humber Infrastructure Fund - Available Now!

THE £5.8 million Humber Infrastructure Fund has been launched by the Humber Local Enterprise Partnerahip.

The fund is looking for capital investments that deliver new jobs and internal growth, such as better productivity or profitability in a company, or external growth through supply chain or market stimulation.

Proposals submitted can also be linked to the Enterprise Zones across the area, and the local authority is offering a helping hand.

It is the board's aim to invest in activity that is ready to be implemented. Planning consent needs to have been gained before the business plan is submitted and any issues relating to state aid also need to have been resolved.

North East Lincolnshire Council is offering support to local companies to access the fund. To discuss a project in more detail businesses can call Angela Blake on 01472 324603 or e-mail angela.blake@nelincs.gov.uk

The board of the Humber LEP, which is headed by Lord Christopher Haskins with David Ross as vice-chairman, will prioritise business models that will deliver a return on the fund, which can be recycled for reinvestment.

The Humber LEP is looking for a spread of proposals across the area, which will kick-start projects and bring in future investment, rather than providing funding for large projects.

Expressions of interest need to be submitted to Humber LEP by February 10.
